The Tigers ! That's what motivated me to do this diorama! Papo took out two tiger figures in an aggressive attitude, I had to reproduce them at the right scale because they were too small. Long work, again: I made the clay base, which I refined with milliput paste. I placed the muscles and then sculpted the fur. I used toothpick tips for claws and canines. I carved the necklace and inserted a chain of which I stuck the links so that it stays straight. I painted everything and varnished the eyes, the nose and the mouth. It's very comfortable to have the 3D model in your hands ! You can compare my tigers to the models on photo 4. For the ax of Tigris of Gaul (character I firstly wanted to make), I wrapped a very thin wire around a skewer, I used the tip of the pick for the tip, I carved the rest. The base is a board of wood that I sawed. I stuck sand on it. I stuck a plastic ribbon on the edge and glued black felt under it. Splashes of red paint with toothbrush to suggest Tigris’ blood.
