I weathered the hailfire droid in several layers of washes. I added "modeling mud" to several locations and layered that in sealant. I hollowed out the barrels of the blaster cannons with a power drill. Finished with a silver dry brushing of the wheels/treads and other worn areas of the vehicle. Each individual missile warhead was hand painted with red paint.
