All different kinds of brushes and paints my friend. I usually pick up the super small stuff from either Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Thanks for the compliments.

Nice use of the old Wolf head there pal - my only gripe with the NECA version was that they didn't tackle an unmasked head sculpt. Great job!

They didn't tackle and unmasked head, they left off his trademark Cannon, and I don't know I just felt like he should be bigger.

I know what you mean. I can kind of forgive the giant cannon, as it felt at the time like they were testing the water with the Kenner figures... heavy parts re-use, minimal new tooling, y'know?
It wasn't until they knew it was going to be a nice earner that they seemed to decide to go nuts on subsequent figures.
For example, it doesn't look like they're shying away from giant cannons for the upcoming Lasershot figure!

I agree. I think laser shot should have also been on an AVP body because he was the second tallest one next to cracked Tusk to the clan leader

A beefier Lasershot would have been pretty badass. I guess they wanted to keep the majority of them uniform to ensure that the Clan Leader stood out from the crowd.
