I love Swamp Thing..I have not seen the new show yet. I kinda did my interpretation of Swampy. Used a new 52 Swamp Thing..which is at a really good price on Amazon right now. Added some green stuff sculpt to his upper legs to thicken him up. Then bought foliage from Hobby Lobby and added it to his whole body. Leaves..moss...roots all kind of of stuff. Dry brushed brown and gray on his tree limbs. Used multiple washes..green..brown..then used citadels nurgles rot. Then gave him a glossy/wet finishing coat. Accept for the big tree limbs..that was dry brushed brown/gray. Also sculpted some ears on the big green. He was lots of fun. I live in Florida so took his pictures outside.
