My second version of Annihilus is a bit different than the first. Obviously he's a bit bigger than the last one, but still follow the same thought process of going for a much more insectoid or bug-like look than the hasbro version. This guy was really just a case of me happening to have all the requisite parts in front of me at the same time. He's built on the SP//DR build-a-figure body with an Annihilus BAF head and wasp wings; and lucky for me this was a no sculpt custom! For paint I used Montana Gold Silver Chrome, with Tamiya Metallic Green(which I do not recommend, it has no durability), Model Masters Purple Pearl, and some Tamiya Gold Leaf for the details. Overall, the paintjob came out pretty well in my opinion, however, if you are going to use the Montana Gold Silver Chrome as an undercoat you should absolutely clear coat it before you put anything else over the top (I used a Model Masters clear coat). All in all, its a quick simple custom and I really like how he looks on the shelf with the rest of my cosmic figures.
