I recently purchased the Conan bronze version, which gave me the idea to make the famous Rocky statue next to the Philadelphia Art Museum.
The basic figure is Rocky version 1 (golden shorts).
I removed the tassels from the shoes. I stuck and camouflaged the joints and resculpted the muscles (shoulders, chest, abdominals). I painted a green-blue undercoat. Then, I brushed the figure with a bronze color paint. A layer of very diluted green and varnish to finish.
For the base, I cut wooden plates and repainted everything.
It was very odd to brush such a beautiful figure, but it highlights NECA's great sculptural work on their productions.
