Here is a custom 3 3/4 inch Cobra Commander figure, based on the first issue of the Marvel Comics run. I like Cobra Commander's dictator uniform, and the comic book two-packs from a few years ago gave us the figure with the hood. I thought it would be cool to have one with his classic battle helmet, just like he had in the battle at the end of issue number one. After removing the cumbersome backpack and popping open the Talking Cobra Commander, I discovered that the neck joint was a lot different, I had to do some work to switch out the peg on the battle helmet head to get it to work. I painted the face plate with aluminum plate paint, and then repainted the helmet. I painted all of the yellow/gold detailing. Overall, an easy figure custom with a neat end result.
