Hey guys! For this custom which is my 13th by the way, I decided to do my own version of the classic Thor from the comics. So what I did was cracked open my ML series 3 Thor, swapped the torso down to the thighs with an unknown wrestling dude so only the head, arms and legs were retained. I then attached a fabric for his loin-cloth (my 1st time to incorporate such material to a figure) Sculpted features followed (shoulder straps, belt, shin guards, knee pads, the strap on his right arm, some patterns on the vest, his beard, and of course those distinctive silver discs!) Let me note that I added some mass (sculpt) at the back of the knee to fit Thor's legs into the wrestler's thighs, so the double-jointed now became single-jointed but that's a small price to pay. I added a chain to his get-up for a 90's rock inspired aesthetic! Painted the whole figure with Vallejo acrylics, dry-brushed pants and leg wraps and applied a new skin tone (helmet is untouched). Finished it off afterwards with a matte varnish. Had so much fun doing this hopefully you guys had fun checking it out as well. Thanks a lot.
