2x 8in styrofoam hemispheres, a ton of foam coat, 45+ 3d printed spikes varying in length of 2-4 in, 3d printed inner hemisphere eye with an embedded LED in a rubber ball. Paint was modpodge to seal, filler primer for texture and sealing, yellow rattle can, orange > red > brown dry brushing
Been a looooong time since I've posted so be kind.

This looks incredible, bud. Very striking work. I have done some LED work in my figures too and it can be very tough to do sometimes but it's always worth it and you did a tidy job here my friend.

Thanks Gaz! The main trouble I had with the LEDs was making the connections between the stand and the body. I cannibalized a battery pack for the spring and stud connectors.
