Man-Ape has long been a thorn in the side of Black Panther. He has tried to usurp the throne of T'Challa many times. In Wakanda, he is a member of the White Gorilla cult, and gained his powers from it. He is an original member of the Lethal Legion, and has also joined the Masters of Evil.
This one was a lot of work! The base is Sasquatch, with a Cottonmouth face. I spent days hollowing out and grafting a gorilla head onto the base, then reattached Sasquatch's hair. Making the banded armour on the hands and feet was quite meticulous. As he's not an actual ape, I also shortened the forearms. The gorilla emblem was hand-made, as was the bead-strap. The bones on the necklace were from a skeleton decoration. The belt is a combination of craft store items, dinosaur horns, and fodder. Finally, the loincloth is from Conan.
