Dissembled the body to make it easier to paint and sculpt. Resculpted the breasts with apoxie because I wasn't happy with the weird looking boobs they gave her used pictures of a statue of her as a reference guide. Did the same with the butt because she also has a hell of a badonkadonk. For the arms I used banshee's to give them muscle and DOUBLE JOINTED ELBOWS! Had to drill through Shulkie's forearm very carefully to make a hole for the peg to fit into. I'm considering if I should get a spiderman forearms to go with them, but I'm happy this far, it was a pain because on my test figure (thundra)the elbow joint got torn apart when getting the arms out despite heating it first, so I had to cut around the joint of she-hulk for it to pull out without danger. Also gave her open hands from a pack I bought from china. Was going to do the t joint articulation thing but decided against it, I just could not pull the trick with a test figure and didn't want to ruin this one. Sculpted the wrist and boots with apoxie, and painted and sealed it all with model master paints. Painted her whole body because I didn't like much the tone of green they used for her and preferred this tone on her and I think it fits her very well. Painting the face was the hardest part, had to be ridiculously careful not to ruin the face paint, that's right I painted around all the makeup because I don't trust my self painting a face... get. ![]() |
