Hey, Guys ! Here‘s the second one, of the orcs, based on those headless Guritz-figures, I was able to grab super-cheap, thanks to Edgy3, who gave me the hint, where to get `em !!! My goal was to let, each of the three, look differently, even though they share the exact same base-figure. ...and I wanted to give them all an unhealthy, unique skin-tone, by being experimental with new combinations of colors and techniques, which technically don’t appear, in the citadel painting-system. Recipe : Dremeled off the „meat-balls-collar and replaced it by fabric, on that one, too. Cut off the spikes, on the shoe-tips almost completely, flipped them up and sculpted the space underneath. Removed the loin-chainmail and replaced it by a piece of faux-reptile -leather. Used the tunic of Gorbag, als body- and back-armor and the tunic of Darth Maul for the back, too. Added a second layer of Guritz-shoulder-armor. Used the modified chainmail-loincloth of an orc warrior, as collar-piece. I’ve recasted the head of an McFarlane Viking dark ages-figure and sculpted the „ponytail“. Also sculpted a similar uneven skin-surface on the neck, to match to the head. Sculpted over an Frodo in orc armor-sword. Repainted 95% of the figure Sculpted over a Sam in orc armor-sword. The shield is scratch-built / sculpted over plastic, with faux-leather-straps. Citadel colors : Flayed ones flesh Flash gitz yellow Bugman‘s glow Khorne red Nuln oil Imperial primer Leadbelcher Typhus corrosion Rhyza rust Sealed with Valejo satin varnish I hope you like it ! Cheers ! ![]() |
