So I really liked the idea of a Norman Osborn Spider-Man ever since it showed up in Spider-Geddon, but also knew how much of a PAIN it was going to be to make. But for as much as I was dreading this one, it wasn't AS bad as I was expecting, and I got most of the work for it done in a few days.

Recipe:

Base- Adam Warlock
Extra Arms- Red Goblin
Head- Archangel (technically)

The original plan was to work from 3 Red Goblin figures, since I liked the clawed hands and I felt using a Norman, even a version I detest, was appropriate for making another Norman. However, I only ended up getting my hands on two of them, and I realized as soon as I had them in hand that the body wasn't worth using. Instead, I ended up using an Adam Warlock figure I've had sitting around in my parts bin for ages (I only got it for the BAF) since it was also on the Bucky Cap buck, mostly to not deal with the tail. I also discovered that the Lasher hands were the same (Something I ALSO bought for the BAF) so I used them as well.

I also originally had plans to build from a Norman Osborn head, but none of the casts I saw online matched the image I had in my head, and ultimately when I started taking inventory I remembered I had three copies of this particular head mold sitting in my bin, and the jawline and smile matched what I was looking for perfectly.

As far as assembly goes, the only hiccup I had was figuring out where to place the arms. The tutorial I was following was based on the Pizza Spider-Man buck, but that body has a longer ab crunch that will fit two arms on the sides. The Bucky Cap body doesn't work nearly as well, and though I finally attempted just to place them on the back, the space isn't wide enough to fit both shoulders. I finally had to drill new holes in the upper back... slightly off model, but I think it looks pretty good.

Finished up by giving the whole thing a good airbrushing, followed by hand painting all the details. I love how the arms turned out... a bit messy sure, but matches the artwork of the character.

I like it. First one of these I've seen here. I like all the thought you put into it. We should be seeing more of this character at some point too since they teased it at the end of Spidergeddon. Anyway, awesome job!
