Hey everyone, here is my custom Peter B Parker Spidey from the Spider-man Into the Spiderverse movie.
After seeing the Spiderverse movie I wanted a figure of Peter B Parker, and I thought I could achieve a Peter B Parker by just doing a headswap with the basic figure Hasbro released to tie in with the movie. I modified the head to fit in with my Fearsome Foes Spidey body as I felt it matched its proportions a bit better than the Pizza Spidey body, plus the Fearsome Foes base has sculpted webbing to match the Spiderverse Head. I then repainted both the head and the body so they could match, also redoing the spiderlogo on his chest to be more accurate. After this headswap, I thought I could take this custom a bit further and give him the sweatpants and bare feet look he sports during a portion of the film. I took the calves off of an old Toybiz Spider-Man movie figure, sanding off all of its detail so it could pass off as bare legs, then I took the bare feet from a Jared Leto Suicide Squad Joker Figure. Putting those parts together I made new lower feet that I could then switch out with the boots of the Spider-Man Figure. I modified the joints of the feet so they could swap out easier. I made some grey cloth sweatpants as well that can be slipped on the Figure. They’re not perfect and the sewing is very amateur but it fits the figure so I’m satisfied with them.

Lastly, I did make an unmasked head; for the Spiderverse look, I took a Peter Parker head from an old Toybiz movie spidey and resculpted his hair to matched the animated film, then repainted the face so he looked a bit older. You might notice I gave him some shading around his brow and eyes so he looks more middle aged, and I painted a bit of a grey around his chin for kind of a five o’clock shadow. His brown hair also has some grey around the sides.

Now I did make a green trench coat to go along with his unmasked head (if you watched the movie you’ll remember he had this bulky coat he wore when he was just hanging out) however the coat I made was terrible, with a weird stiff cloth material and it just doesn’t work. I’ll probably revisit this sometime soon with a better fabric but for now, he’s gonna be coat-less.

So that’s my custom Peter B Parker from Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse. I’m pretty proud of how he turned out and he is a good companion piece to my Miles Morales. My paintwork isn’t super crisp, the pants aren’t great, and the alternate Peter head sits a bit higher but overall I’m happy I made this custom.

Very cool figure, the Parker head does look a bit wonky in my opinion, but I understand that sculpting head is difficult, none the less, great figure!
