I collect Street Fighter action figures and I can say that, among Sota, Neca and Storm I have got almost all the characters that were put on the shelves in the past few years (Except Dan Hibiki). So I can't understand why SOTA, among all its beautiful figures that has created, "forgot" to include a Deejay figure. ...And I simply had to make this one... Starting from a Neca Ken Masters figure, I took off his hair and kimono and sculpted new hair for Deejay. Wrote two smal "M"s in brown on both sides of the head. The dreadlocks are made out of two iron wires covered with greenstuff and than painted: you can orientate tham in almost any direction you want so you can put the hair according to any pose - even the most dynamic. With green stuff I modelled a new chin to make it more pronounced and filled the empty hole on the back (was the point to attach Ken's kimono). I painted the eyes black. I painted the gloves and the trousers orange (gloves have two white stripes on them). I made the vertical stripes on the legs using tape and than painted them black, and wrote "MAXIMUM" on the right leg and "MAXIMUM KICK" (don't ask me why...) on the left leg. I completely painted the body in brown, using two different Citadel brown paints. I added a neckchain (which I designed and painted personally) and two "maracas" for the win poses, inserting them in two holes that I drilled on both hands. I hope you enjoyed these pics!
