This was a commissioned piece. Client asked for a " typical " dungeon stairwell. I added the hand painted Beholder as a bonus and a theme.

Styrofoam insulation boards. Shaped and painted. Two half connected with magnets. Skeleton, sword and shield accessories as well.

Pictures
a miniature D&D fig cut off base and put it on a cut down clear dowel from a small get well balloon.

The texture of the stone is so good great work looks fantastic I was very fortunate to cop that Beholder from Ollie's awhile back for only $10 it's the size of a small cantaloupe it's super cool

Holy hell that is marvelous!! I love all the little details you added, gives the set an excellent realistic appearance. May I ask how you achieved the stony texture on the foam?

the walls were lightly sprayed with gloss spray paint this starts to break down the styro-foam then covered with a layer of modpodge matte and painted over and then cut with a foam cutter to make the stone pattern. The floors were covered first with the matte so the remained smooth.
