Oh side projects you are the bane of my existence. The Gray Fox, he’s just that theif the imperial watch is always going on about.... or actually he’s the legendary theif who stole the Daedric Prince Nocturnals magic cowl which makes the wearer virtually undetectable and masks their identity to the world... Supposedly over 300 years old, this theif has been the figurehead leader of the thieves guild for this centuries. When you earn enough prestige within this hidden guild he sends you on several errands to collect special tools that allow you to pull off one last great heist to steal an elder scroll from the Imperial Palace itself! Your reward for completing this endeavour? The truth and much more. You learn that the current owner of the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal is actually Count Corvus of Anvil who inherited the cowl from the previous Gray Fox in a long line of succession... as well as it’s curse. Whoever shall don the cowl shall have his name striken from history, he could act as the guilds figure head, but no one recognised him without it. He left his home wife and life behind, but by using the Elder Scroll you stole he was able to manipulate the rules of existence and remove the curse, restoring his identity, allowing him to return to his old life. He declares you the new guildmaster of the theives guild and gives the cowl (now free of the curse on it) to you. This is one of the most useful item one can have in Oblivion allowing you to break the law without repercussions as a bounty is just added to the Gray Fox and your sneaking ability is increased as well as your strength, allowing you to carry more and the ability of seeing life like a hear vision through walls.
An interesting character to say the least, I used Balrog Gandalf hands, Helms deep Aragorn head and legs, Faramir’s torso and fodder including Eomers pauldrons. I sculpted over the entire thing so it’s hard to see the previous figure besides the trousers feet hands and parts of the face. I sculpted straps, belts, the rings, boots, pauldrons, torso leather armour, wrist sleeves belts buckles knee pads and the cowl naturally. The sword was made from some fodder handle and plastic then painted to look like the glass sword in game he usually carries, though levelled I believe. Sheath is just plastic shaped and then miliput over and imprinted for the design.. so he has leather cuirass, grieves and boots, a glass shortsword, the cowl, a ring of theives and a ring of alteration. Took a while to get right and had to repaint the face multiple times but happy finally.
There will be more ES customs to come. Also thought it be funny if he was staring amulet of kings. Yeah nice job Jauffre!

Please wait...
