He fights through each KOF tournament taking down arms dealers, cult members, and evil organizations with some help from Chizuru(a descendant of the Yata clan who wields a scared treasure and helped sealed orochi), bitter rival Iori(descendant of the Yagami clan formerly the Yasakani clan who wanted to seek revenge), and his 2 teamates Benimaru and Daimon.
